The Book shows some faint white staining at the backstrip, apparently from the paper of the DJ rubbing against it; just a touch of crimping to the heel of the backstrip; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. The DJ shows mild rubbing overall and faint soiling to the white background field of the rear panel; the price is unclipped; mylar-protected. Overall, a very handsome copy: close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. ix, 430 pages. Blue paper over boards with black titles at the backstrip. Reprint [1964] of the Second Edition [1913]. Hardback with DJ.
