A very good book, the internals are free from inscriptions, with some bumping to the foot and head of the spine with some wear to the front board lower corner, with some minor spotting to the top edge of the text block. Pygmalion, inspiration for the musical adaption My Fair Lady, is set in Edwardian England, it follows the story of Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl transformed into a refined lady by phonetics professor Henry Higgins as a social experiment. The novel explores themes of class, identity and the power of language.
