Bert Salg illustrations; 4 glossy full page illustrations including the frontis. Ads in book and on dust jacket list no books later than 1930 ( the date of publication of this book) The dust jacket has darkened spine and wear at extremities. The reverse of the jacket shows old tape vertically along spine, along rear hinge line and along lower edge of jacket. Rear of jacket lists Poppy Ott to Tittering Totem, Jerry Todd to Editor in Grief , Andy Blake to Pot of Gold, and Trigger Berg to Mouse Traps. Ads in the book are the same and shows 'other titles in preparation' as Jerry Todd Caveman, Poppy Ott and Prancing Pancake, and Hits the Trail, Trigger Berg and the Sacred Pig, and Andy Blake Boy Builder. ( Andy Blake Boy Builder was never published)
