"the Angels' Voice was a magazine produced by the Young Men's Bible Class of Trinity Congressional Church, Brixton. 15 issues appeared between 191and 1913. It touched the lives of some 30 to 40 young men, many of whom were to serve and some of whom were to die in the First World War. Rather than confining its articles to stricly religious topics, it recorded their rambles, day trips, sporting activities, holidays abroad, smoking cigarettes and growing moustaches as well as their first innocent attractions to members of the oppoisite sex."
