London: Thomas Tegg, 1809. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Octodecimo. 4 x 6.25 in. 104 pp. Fine in the original red morocco with pristine gilt titling and decor. The binding and boards are firm and in terrific shape. The pages are clean and free of foxing, except for a single pencil notation on the front free endpaper. This copy contains a fold-out frontis piece and 27 hand-colored plates by Rowlandson. This copy is housed in a red cloth fall-down-back box with a leather spine. A collection of humorous letters coupled with color plates.
