Sobre este artículo

London: Forgotten Books, 2017. NEW in a NEW dust jacket. Near PERFECT condition. The jacket shows just a tiny bit of very mild shelfwear (like you sometimes find in any new book store). NO chips, tears, creases or fading. Bright, shiny, clean, square and tight. Sharp corners. NO owner's name or bookplate. NOT a remainder. Pages are fresh, crisp, clean and unmarked. Bound in the original dark blue cloth, stamped in bright gold on the spine. Excerpt from Anne Hereford: A Novel: "The train slackened speed, and glided into an important station, larger than any we had passed. It was striking one, and the guard came up to the carriage. Now, my little lady, said he, change lines here, and stop for ten minutes. I liked that guard. He had a kind, hearty face, and he had come up several times to the carriage-door during the journey, asking how I got on. He told me he had a little girl of his own, about as Old as I." About the publisher: "Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Find more at [the forgottenbooks website]. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Forgotten Books uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works.". Facsimile reprint of the 1897 edition. Hardcover. New condition/New dust jacket. Illus. by NOT a library discard. 8vo. vi, 452pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

Sobre About Books

About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole. If you wish to visit us to examine specific titles, please provide 24 hours notice and we will make them available for your inspection. Phone calls to (702) 750-2722 are welcome, but please, only between the hours of 8am and 10pm (west coast time).
