Sobre este artículo

New York, New York, U.S.A.: Clarkson N. Potter, Inc., 1967. First Edition Later Printing . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Two huge volumes contain ALL the Sherlock Holmes tales by Doyle, with copious annotations & illustrations adding immensely to the modern reader's enjoyment, complemented by the original drawings from their first appearance in London's "Strand Magazine" in the late 1800s. Introduction, Notes, & Bibliography by editor Baring-Gould, a renowned Holmes scholar. Orig. collected in this two-volume boxed set format in 1967, this is a married set with NO SLIPCASE: Vol. I (in 688 pages with map endpapers) is a Third Printing, while Vol. II (in 824 pages, same endpapers) has a slightly different binding (but identical DJ) & is a 17th printing. Both are thick, oversized hardcovers in Near Fine condition, appearing never read! Completely clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white & unmarked. The unclipped DJ is VG on Vol. I, Fine on Vol. II. Vol. I DJ is downgraded due to a few small chips & creases at corners & both ends of spine, Vol. II's is virtually flawless! Both are vividly colored with NO fading; nicely protected for years of reading pleasure in new mylar cover Free!
