Annual Report on Harvard University

This copy of The Third Annual Report of the President of Harvard University to the Overseers on The State of the Institution for the academical year 1827-8 was published in 1829 by the University and printed by Hilliard, Metcalf,and Co. of Cambridge. The report, which measures approximately 6 x 10 inches, contains 63 pages, in paper covers, that provides both the educational and financial status of the University. The information is presented in a number of tables and exhibits with very little explanatory text. The items covered are:

The pages of the booklet are slightly tanned, but the text, tables and exhibits are easily read. The covers are slightly stained and dirty, with some chipping along the edges and loss of material along the spine. The booklet was originally string-bound, but the string is now absent. Therefore, there are several instances of detached or semi-detached pages. The overall condition of the document is good.
