Pictorial dust jacket, pale green cloth covered spine, over darker green boards. Fore-edge untrimmed. This book, a little different than most of her others, focuses on the inspiration and hope that is required to overcome, or cope with the grief of losing a loved one. In Taber's case, it was her companion Jill, who died after some thirty years of life together. This is a very good copy with some signs of age, a little fading around the edges, and on the top edge of the text. The jacket, although complete, has a half-inch missing from the base of the spine, short tears on the spine, edge wear, and toning to the edges. There is a gift inscription (1963) on the free endpaper. The fragile dust jacket is protected with a Brodart cover.
