Thick octavo. 178 (Poetry in the United States), 496 (Anthology), 149 (Yearbook), 43 (Biographical Dictionary) pp. Ownership stamp and signature of a noted American psychologist on the front fly. Spine gilt a bit dulled, and light wear at the corners including a tiny tear at the spine base, just about near fine, lacking the dustwrapper. Interior is otherwise fine. Edited by a noted African-American poet, this is an important compendium representing most active American poets of the period.
