Covers present but detached, first signature present but detached, predictable age-toning to text, foxing, spotting, light soiling to endpapers, etc., and with punch-embossed signs of ex-library status, plus white call letters at spine, else a complete, still pretty sturdy text-block, clean and unmarked. Marbled paper over boards, brown cloth-backed and at tips. Scuffing to tips and extremities, predictable waffling to text-block, but signs of neither odor nor mildew. Absolutely indispensable for the user of primary documents in U.S. history. 1,307 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
