[Philadelphia: William Cobbett], 1797. Disbound. Good binding. Octavo. 24 pp. Removed from volume, early plain salmon wrapper to the front, no rear wrapper. Wrapper is chipped with some pencil notations and rubber-stamped number; contents are a trifle foxed, but generally very good.
This is an imperfect copy, having been separated from Erskine's work to which it was originally appended. It is, nevertheless, the complete appendix. While Erskine's was repeated reprinted around this time, only Cobbett's edition contained this appendix which aside from Miles's observations, also contains some of his correspondence with M. Le Brun, the French Minster and others. Evans 32097.
