The title character, Appley Dapply, is a brown mouse who takes food out of a cupboard in someone's house.Beautifully illustrated in colour in Potter's typical style, with a colour frontispiece, and fourteen colour plates.Collated, complete. In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart. A small chip to the backstrip. Very minor bumping to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some scattered spots, mostly to the first few pages. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
