Sobre este artículo
Helsinki: Otava, 2000. Hardcover. As New. 18th printing, originally published in 1994. No date indicated but a recent issue. Laminated illustrated boards as issued, illustrated endpapers and paste-downs, unpaginated. 30cm x 24cm approx. Printed in the Finnish language. Mauri Kunnas is something of an institution in Finland and must be one of the very few living artists in the world who has their own dedicated museum and theme park! His most famous creation is the sleep-walking dog, Herra Hakkarainen, who usually manages to inveigle himself into a background scene somewhere in his books (in the manner of Alfred Hitchcock's movie appearances). Here he turns his attention to a tale of piracy on the open seas with an impressive list of piratical characters. In As New condition, an unread copy.
