Single book from a 15 volume set - The Historical Romances of Georg Ebers - each containing a separate novel in two separately paginated parts designated as volumes I and II of that title. Red cloth with gilt spine lettering and small Egyptian inspired emblem with scarab, orb and wings, top edge gilt, tissue protected black and white frontis illustration, book about 7.25 inches tall. Light rubbing to the spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages with the personal bookplate of M. F. Blumenfeld inside the front cover, no other names or markings.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
