Edinburgh: Thomas C. Jack, 1877. Hardback (½ Leather) (No Dust Wrapper.). Good. Just. Leather at spine and corners badly worn and frayed. Hinges starting with both boards starting to detach. First few pages lightly soiled. Text, plates and illustrations nice and tight but a fragile copy.. ### IMPORTANT: Weighing 3.2kg. shipping beyond the shores of my utopian country will be by ParcelForce World Wide, and starts at £15.00 Europe/£30.00 Elsewhere (less the displayed cost) for a 5-7 day service, tracked, duties unpaid. ### Hardback (½ Leather). Physically 12” x 9” (3.2 kg); 824pp; Illustrated with colour plates and numerous engravings. Two fold-out maps as I believe are called for. Tissue guard to frontis || The book is on my shelves and will be carefully packed and posted from the pastoral paradise of Peasedown St. John, Bath, by a real bookseller in a real book shop - with my personal guarantee and my beady eye on the Consumer Contracts Regulations. REMEMBER! Buying my copy means the bookshop Jack Russells get their supper! My Book #152798|| Condition:

At that point I converted the premises to a small book shop, Fact or Fable, with a stock of around 4,000 titles in stock. I've been selling books worldwide since 1997 and rather hope to get the hang of it shortly…
