First published by Viking in 1934 as To the North!, this revision of the classic survey is brought up to date. More than a hundred explorers covered including Frobisher, Hudson, Bering, Dezhnev, Wrangel, Ross, Parry, Franklin, Nansen, Peary, Nordenskiöld, Wegener, MacMillan, Stefansson, Cook, Papanin, Andrée, Amundsen, Ellsworth, Wilkins and Schmidt.
Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve.
