More than a hundred explorers covered including Frobisher, Hudson, Bering, Dezhnev, Wrangel, Ross, Parry, Franklin, Nansen, Peary, Nordenskiöld, Wegener, MacMillan, Stefansson, Cook, Papanin, Andrée, Amundsen, Ellsworth, Wilkins and Schmidt.
