New York and London: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1926. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 24 x 16.5 cm. Octavo. 439pp. 8 color plates and additional black and white illustrations. Bound in dark green cloth, lacking dust jacket. Signed by Beebe opposite the title list. First edition with no additional printings noted. There is a small stain to the bottom of the first few pages causing some rubbing to the paper as well as a larger stain to pages 124-125. The page the author signed appears to have been carefully bound-in after the book was printed as the paper is of a different type.
