London: The Booksellers, 1766. Twenty-Seventh Edition. Full Leather. 15.5 x 9 cm. 16mo. viii 9-114 (misnumbered, actually pg 142] [2]. Frontispiece and in-text woodcuts. Bound in plain tan leather. Several pages are misnumbered. Piece missing from page 79 which effects the text. Binding remains tight. Not in fact by Aristotle, the attribution is spurious, and today is attributed to William Salmon. Originally published in 1684 and quite rare in any early edition. Effectly banned because of its resique subject matter of women's bodies, sex, and pregnancy. ESTC T203678.
