Laid-in is a typed two-page letter on the author's personal stationery in which he mentions several books including the revised edition of this title and the movie rights having been purchased. A second typed letter on the author's stationery is affixed to the verso of the dedication page with personal comments to the recipient's previous letter. Cloth, maps on front and rear endpapers, 370 pp. preface, introduction, illustrated, notes, acknowledgments, bibliography, the Principal Characters, index Introduction by William MacLeod Raine. Forrest's classic account of the war between cattlemen and sheepmen in Pleasant Valley, Arizona in the 1880's. "Perhaps the best and most complete history of the Graham-Tewksbury Feud, this book reveal intelligent research. It has some accounts of The Apache Kid, Billy The Kid, Tom Pickett, and the killing of Andy Cooper by Commodore Owens."--Ramon Adams. Very good bright copy in price-clipped dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends, corners and extremities. An important book. Highly recommended.
