Size octavo, 385 pages including index. Green cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine. Condition good, corners and spine ends rubbed and bumped, gilt dulled on spine, front hinge cracked, else contents are clean, this is an ex-library copy with numbering to front cover and spine, label removed from rear paste-down and stamps to the front end-paper. It was also once a review copy and has the compliments/review slip tipped on to the front end-paper. With black and white frontispiece photograph of Arnold Bennett and a number of photographs throughout. Biography
