Very Good/No Dust jacket. Brown pebbled cloth boards with decorated binding (silver capital building and lettering on cover, silver lettering and small decoration on spine). Nice, solid book. Clean, with some fading to front board right edge, faint moisture stain to rear outer board edge. A few tiny spots of wear at top and bottom spine edges. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Clean endpapers, with decorated front fixed endpaper. Illustrated with hundreds of excellent drawings by the author, including sketch from life of President Theodore Roosevelt, and comical sketches and cartoons of many other politicians and scenes of the era. 316 pages..
