Text lightly yellowed with age, but clean and unmarked with no foxing. Prior owner attribution on front pastedown. Author's account of holding the 1936 record for the "swift circumnavigation of the globe, a record established entirely by means of commercial airlines." The trip includes detailed description of crossing the Atlantic Ocean aboard the famed dirigible, the Hindenburg.
