Sobre este artículo
"These to type faces are of great historic interest. The Poliphilus derives its name from the famous Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, issued 1499 and generally considered to be the finest product of the Italian press. The italic also has an august origin, being based upon the Chancery letter form cut circa 1515 by Antonio Blado of Rome and used for embossing papal briefs."--from the explanatory insert.
Title page and first page printed in blue and black. The text is from Irving's "Sketch-Book".
The paper has toned from age at the edges, more so on the covers, else this is a very good copy
