David Garrard Lowe is the author of numerous books, including Stanford White's New York (0-8230-4914-0) and Beaux Arts New York (0-8230-0481-3). President of the Beaux Arts Alliance, he is a regular lecturer at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, and New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. He lives in New York City.
