Art Metropole, founded in 1974 by AA Bronson and General Idea, was the leading distributor of artists' books and publications in North America, pre-dating Printed Matter. The catalogue contains annotated lists of artists' books, anthologies, monographs, periodicals, audioworks and videotapes available from the Toronto based non-profit store.
