Sobre este artículo
New York: Oxford University Press, 1954. 8vo size maroon clothbound hardcover; 277 toned pages with some black and white illustrations plus a section of glossy black and white photographs. This volume was probably rebound from its original binding into this sturdy binding, possibly at the time of original purchase. This volume includes a reproduction of a drawing done by Adolph Hitler and a reproduction of a German language book page with "reading marks" made by him. Please see our photographs for the latter. Contents include: Prelude The Nazi Experiment The Crystallization of the National Socialist Art Doctrine Operation Degenerate Art Nazi Painting: A Study in Retrogression Soviet Insistence and Western Dilemma The Postwar Situation German Art Behind the Iron Curtain Art in Soviet Russia Conclusion: the Challenge to Democracy Ex-library with typical treatments, some blacked out. We note several previously folded page corners, bumped lower corners and a tacky area on back cover where part of a sticker was removed. There are several small spots on title page which have transferred to abutting pages; teeny ink mark on outside pages. Thanks for shopping with us. 100% of your purchase benefits charity and supports literacy and life-long learning.. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
