Now In a protective clear plastic cover, the book is overall in clean red boards but with a slightly faded spine and with clear, but dulled, gilt titling to the spine but brighter gilt titling to the front cover, with a couple of scuff marks/indentations to front board. No dustjacket. Foxing to endpapers and page edges mainly but scattlered foxing throughout. Inscription on the front endpaper written by author who is quoting from the book...... Hinges sound. Rough cut pages. 209pp. Black/white illustrations and frontispiece. Overall CLEAN TIGHT AND BRIGHT. Contents include; At the Royal College of Art; Letters from Italy; The War Years, 1914-1918; Immediately after the war; Nine months in Persia etc etc. ; 107410; 4to; Signed by Author .
