Los Angeles: Art Guild Academy, 1930. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. Produced by the Art Guild Academy, founder and instructor Walter F. Moses Artistic Anatomy is seemingly the first 'book' AGA did. This small portfolio consists of 50 loose leaf plates, in folder, string tied. We've seen three other copies in the last year and this is the best. There is minimal sheet toning, minimal folder wear; really just a trace and the odd scratch. Subsequent to AGA's shuttering publishing rights passed to Borden, who produced other versions in traditional hardback (a print-on-demand version is available from overseas), but I think the original has the most charm. The grade given for the dust jacket is for the folder. I hope to get at least 5 fotos of the piece for its listing. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately.
