At the rear of the book there, as noted, are 32 pages of black-and-white reproductions of various artists work. Dark blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper, with a gilt coloured background, with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The first in a series of books detailing artists from various counties of England, this being the artists of Northumbria and Durham. Softening and rubbing of the backstrip edges; bumping of the book corners with some rubbing also present. Age toning of the textblock edges. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and rubbing of the panels. There is a 5 inch tear to the top left-hand corner of the front panel, with associated creasing.
