Sobre este artículo
Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Co., Inc., 1930. 8vo, 618 pp. Original navy blue cloth stamped in red in the pictorial dust-jacket by Stafford Good, unclipped and priced $2.50. A very good copy, ends of backstrip a little worn, rear joint cracked. Dust-jacket sunned and quite edgeworn, with small chips and closed tears, larger chips to spine ends, old tape repairs on reverse, but but at top and bottom spine edge, also sunned. § First edition in the very rare first issue of the dust jacket. Roberts complained so loudly about Stafford Good's design on this jacket that the publisher removed the book from the market and reissued it with a new jacket designed and painted by N.C. Wyeth. To find the first edition of Arundel in the first issue dust-jacket is perhaps the greatest challenge for any Kenneth Roberts collector.
