London: Lawrence & Wishart, 1936. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. FIRST PRINTING of First UK Edition. Original blue cloth covers, light gray cloth spine with blue title block. The book is in near fine condition with tiny former owner mountain bookplates on front pastedown, no other previous owner marks or writing on any pages, slight fading to spine, clean, no foxing, tight binding. The rare dust jacket has loss of the top 4cm of the spine (that missing area now loosely backed with a copy from a complete jacket), clear tape along edges. The book measures 226mm tall x 145mm, and has 270pp, 32 b/w plates, folding map, index to names. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
