Thus begins one of the most gripping and exciting stories ever written by Heinlein. And it is only one of four long stories which make up "Assignment in Eternity". There is "Elsewhen", a rare Heinlein excursion into time travel. Then there is "Lost Legacy", a full length science novel dealing with the powers of the human mind. Finally, there is "Jerry was a Man", the story of an anthropoid who was more than an ape. A near fine copy with just a few spots of rubbing, previous owner's name in pencil, in unclipped pictorial dust jacket designed by Ric Binkley, only lightly rubbed. Near fine.
Sinopsis
Assignment in Eternity, is a collection of four mixed science fiction and fantasy novellas by Robert A. Heinlein, first published in hardcover by Fantasy Press in 1953, with some of the stories somewhat revised from their original magazine publications, as follows: Gulf (written and published in 1949 in Astounding Science Fiction, October-November 1949).
