Rear Map of Northern South America, with 3 insets: --"Ward Estate," sugar estate in Georgetown, British Guiana -- "Lobby of Park Hotel" & "Lane Morgan's Room" in the Park Hotel, Georgetown, British Guiana, -- Johnny Hammond's bungalow, Georgetown, British Guina. A cablegram from his uncle summons Lane Morgan, a young Boston architect, to Georgetown, British Guiana. Morgan knows very little about Guiana and next to nothing about the affairs of his uncle. Upon his arrival he learns that his uncle has been murdered and that the police have been unable to find any clue to the killer. All Vintage Paperbacks come sealed in 2.5 mil plastic bag and taped closed with removable tape which will not tear the covers if it sticks to them when the book is removed.. First Printing.
