It was published in honor of John Glenn, the first American to orbit the earth, February 20, 1962. It provides a brief bio of the astronaut and a description of his training. On the front cover is an abstract representation of Glenn's history-making flight. This booklet was published immediately following his return to earth. Profusely illustrated. Scarce, especially in this condition. It represents the first official NASA description of the man and his mission. . 4to 11" - 13" tall. ~44 pages. L0 .
