Dust jacket has an oval 1-inch x 2-inch hole in upper left corner and an associated taped horizontal tear that proceeds nearly to the front flap. Light edgewear and rubbing as well. Jacket photo of Poseiden is not affected by the hole, nor are the spine titles. Jacket is now protected by fresh mylar sleeve. Back cover of book has a mild corner bump. The book itself is in excellent condition. Gray cloth binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. Near Fine book in Good dust jacket. . Author brings geological knowledge to play in his study of the lost continent. He was an eminent geologist with the Central Geological Survey, Prague, where he published several scholarly books and nearly two hundred scientific papers. He studied the problem of Atlantis for more than 20 years. This Academia edition is in English, and is the first English edition. Scarce, thus. . Small 4to 9" - 11" tall. 224 pages. C0 .
