[8]pp., 20 hand-colored double page maps, 1 folding map, [28]pp. (includes advertisement leaf at the front, with an index at the rear). Lacks one original map (No. 18 of Africa, replaced with a folding map of Africa from 1879), else complete as issued. Half dark red morocco and marbled paper boards, printed label on the front board. Contemporary bookseller's ticket: "Sold by Bennett & Bright, Utica" on the front pastedown, early owner's signature on the front free endpaper. Overall rubbing and some scuffing to the spine and boards, about very good.
