Sobre este artículo

London: John Murray, Albemarle Street, 1831. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 12mo. xiii,. 332 pages. Hardcover bound in 19th century full brown leather with raised bands on the spine. Compartments and boarders of the boards are ruled in gilt, and the spine titles are in gilt. All edges red. The binding is rubbed, especially along the hinges and shows some old stains, especially at the fore edges and the top edge. The red edges of the text block are rubbed and show pale spotting. An ex-library copy with white shelf numbers partially rubbed off at the foot of the spine. Removed label from the front flyleaf shows some paper residue. The text block is sound, and the text is a little toned but generally clean. Scarce.

Sobre Pages Past Used and Rare Books

Pages Past is a small used & rare bookshop located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
