Sobre este artículo

Boston: Godine, 1972. First Edition. Cloth. Fine/Near Fine. First American edition. Cloth, 272 pps. with index; illustrated. A non-traditional biographical stuyd of enigmatic artist and illustrator Aubrey Beadsley in which the author scrutinizes the artist in his personal social context. Easton analyzes Beardsley's subtle relationships with collegues, friends, craftsmen and publishers but above all studies his intricate relationship with his sister Mabel. The title of this work is derived from the fact that Mabel, a dynamic and beautiful actress, would become the "Dying Lady" of W.B. Yeats' moving sequence of poems. Fine in near fine, preice clipped dust jacket.
