New York: Holiday House, 1936. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 12mo. 106 p.p. Quarter bound cloth, paper boards. Blue slip case and endpapers designed with flowers. Title pasted on front of slip case. Rubbing to corners of slip case. Browning to boards. Discolouration to spine. Otherwise, book is in near fine condition. The original Aucassin and Nicolette, from the 12th or 13th century, is an anonymous medieval story meant to be sung, similar to a prosimetrum.
