New Zealand: Whitcombe & Tombs Limited, 1922. Ex-library with the only associated hallmarks are a few small oval stamps to eps and another page. Original green cloth on boards with black titles; mild dusting of soiling and rubbing. Spine: head & foot of spine with light bumping and thin rubbing. Small wear to bottom boards fore corner tips. Edges: faded stamp STAR to the three edges; mild soiling and foxing. Old yellowed, now dried, cellotape repair to hinge between fep & Frontis & Frontis & Title page; slight splitting to these hinges. Frontis: b/w photograph Of Officers of the Original Auckland Infantry Battalion , Epsom, 1914. Eps & contents: faint and few only foxing to a few only pages. B/w illustrations. Fldg maps are clean and intact. 2 cm closed split to one pages fore-edge margin. Binding is VG albeit feels just a touch loose.. First Edition. Hb. VG/None. Ex-Library.
