Originally published under her maiden name, this book was only 114 pages, even with the introduction and family tree which add 20 pages, there is no explanation for the extra 30 or so pages, other than the photographs. the text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs, mostly full page. This is a story of growing up in Kings Cross, Sydney, in the early part of the 20th century with an eccentric family. "My great - aunt Juliet was knocked over and killed by a bus when she was 85.
