Contains colour illustrated plates by Percy F. S. Spence. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Visible thumb-marking present throughout. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight backward lean and bow.
