Photographic dustwrapper, showing Victorias' floral emblem, pink common heath. White coloured titles on the front panel with black coloured titles on the spine. In this book almost 1/5 of Victorias' native plants life is illustrated in full colour. The plants and flowers "captions give the common & scientific names, the flowering time and the characteristics of the plants. These captions are further supported in the chapters that describes the general grouping of the plants and the environment in which they live. Cross-references from the text to the plates, an extensive index make the book an invaluable field guide." -- from the front fold over panel blurb. Rubbing of the book edges with age toning and a few marks to the text block edges. Some creasing and rubbing of the book edges with marks also present. Fading to the back strip.
