The first third or so of the book contains a considerable amount of pencil underlining; pencil notes cover the blank sections of pages 54 and 55; there are some marginal notes in ink, and occasional ticks. No text is made illegible by any of these marks. Three words in blue biro on the front flyleaf have been crossed. The free end-papers are tape-stained. Green cloth boards in edge-worn dust-jacket which has tears from the spine head and from the upper corner of the front flap. The book deals with poetry, fiction, literary essays, and criticism, from the early colonial days to 1955.. Reprint with Corrections. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo.
