[16], xvii-xix, [3], 3-747, [9] pp. Quarter black cloth over beige paper boards with gold lettering on the spine. Purple endpapers and pastedowns. Illustrated with a frontispiece, with a few in-text photographs, and with several plates of black and white photographs from Clemens' life. Edited by Benjamin Griffin and Harriet Elinor Smith. The final volume of a three-volume autobiography Clemens had suppressed for 100 years after his death. A tiny concavity to the spine, else Fine.
