Sobre este artículo

[London]: December 8, 1875., 1875.. Good. - Letter filling one side of a black-bordered approximately 7 inch high by 4-1/2 inch wide sheet of letterhead with his Clapham address printed at the top. The letter is mounted on a sheet of paper of the same size & there is offsetting from the glue to the top, bottom & right hand edges of the letter. There is also a small stain to the 4th line of the letter. Folded twice for mailing. Good.

Mursell writes to an unidentified recipient about a visit to Otley in West Yorkshire near Leeds, probably to give a lecture. The letter opens "All right - 'Livingstone". [Presumably the subject of the lecture]. He goes on; "I can't walk, having sprained my ankle -- so I fear it would be awkward for me to try to get back to Leeds that night -- tho' I should have liked to do so." He writes he will stay at a hotel near the station and get a morning train.

Arthur Mursell [1831-1914] was a British theologian, nonconformist minister, lecturer and author.
