Sobre este artículo
This is a letter from Beery to a friend, on 2 separate sheets. "Hello Lily Dear, (Dear Miss Pomo, Don't forget your promise to show me France on my first visit. Yours, Wally Beery). It was very sweet of you to send me a Christmas card - never knew your address until now so could not thank you - I looked all over Europe for you but could not locate you - you promised to show me France - when are you coming out here - expect to go to New York in a few weeks. Pardon stationery as I am in the dressing room. Finish 'Viva Villa' next week. Best to you, Wally Beery." On verso of the longer letter is a sheet attached as reinforcement to the center though there seems to be no need for this. The second letter show sunning along the margins. Beery refers to the 1934 American film, "Viva Villa," a fictionalized biography of Pancho Villa in which Beery starred as Villa. Autograph

Sobre Schulson Autographs
Fine and rare manuscript material and artworks have been offered by our company for forty years. Written descriptions accompany each piece, and we stand behind our items in perpetuity. Schulson Autographs is the continuation of David Schulson Autographs. Filled with art and history, Scrawl: An A-Z of Famous Doodles (Rizzoli 2019) is our coffee table book based on our family collection of illustrations in letters, written by Claudia, Caren and Todd Strauss-Schulson. Artworks from Scrawl were exhibited at the Grolier Club, Jan. through Feb, 2019, "Art in the Letter and Other Scrawls."
