Otherwise, the report is accurate, excellent...", 2 sides 8vo., 23 Sussex Place, Kensington, W., 9th May Sir John ROBINSON (1839-1903) was the first Prime Minister of Natal. He became manager of his father's paper the 'Natal Mercury' in 1860. He travelled widely from 1861, staying in the United Kingdom for five months, where he studied the International Exhibition of 1862, and lectured on the colony. After a long career in politics he became the first Prime Minister in 1893.
