No Binding. Fine. small quarto, one page, formerly folded, now flattened, in fine, clean and legible condition. Written at Monticello: mentioning Jefferson. Lafayette, while on his tour of America in 1824-1825, writes from Monticello where he had been staying with his "vieux et venerable ami Jefferson," providing news of various friends and announces that his arrival in Washington will be on the first of December: ".
